Evans' Ohio lawsuit SPOILERS

Evans says he will file a lawsuit alleging he won Ohio and thus the presidency, because Tia had some illegal meeting with Ohio officials to get Dalton on the ballot.
It's just a TV show so anything goes, but this seems ridiculous:
* He's really late, the results have been certified by the Ohio government, the electoral college has voted and certified no candidate received 270 votes, and the House has elected the new president.
* He has no way of proving he would have won Ohio had Dalton not been on the ballot.
* An illegal meeting would not be grounds to invalidate the election results, it would just mean fines for the participants.

They do need some sort of ongoing plot-line for the balance of the season, and perhaps for the cliffhanger at the end of season 3.

An excuse to drop the Alzheimer DNA knowledge bomb on him - quietly, of course. What a smarmy prick. Maybe he'll keel over during the frosty run, opening up a new assassination plot line.
