I don't think it was the case, the show had a good premise, but the acting was a bit... well... terrible. I think it would work maybe if Netflix picked it up. It just premiered a show called "Grace and Frankie" about two women whose husbands leave them for each other, so I think if this show got picked up by netflix and maybe overhauled into something a bit more daring, it would get much better.

It was cancelled because it was an unfunny piece of shít. Nothing to do with sexuality.

shareThey don't cancel a show because the writing and acting is bad. They cancel a show due to low ratings. These days shows don't have a chance. It took Friends and Seinfeld several years before they found a solid audience and that stayed on the air a long time with only mediocre ratings and a few viewers.
I'm not against gay people at all, but why does every show have to have gay themes and characters? Elisha was in 2 shows with gay characters, maybe that's her thing.
