Great movie

Overall, this is a great production. they have some subtle references to the Disney version tho it is not a Disney production. I honestly don't think they were needed but at the same time, it was fun to pick out.

I loved Prince Leon; loved the whole phantom thing going, loved he wasn't a physical beast and loved watching him change throughout the show. There was a very realistic line when he is arguing with Bella about marrying him. He is part man and part beast and she needed to accept both. It's the same with any human relationship.

There were some parts I didn't care for. I think it comes with being a 4-5 hour mini series but the Bella wanting to go home but got really repetitive. Every 5 minutes she was going home, coming back, going home, coming back. It just got old halfway thru the second part of the movie. Other that that, it can be a little more soap opera like. There is definitely this romance novel aspect to the movie. There gets to be a time where Bella just annoys me and I wonder what is so special about her. But over all, it's a nice fun movie and something a little different, darker, and sexier than normal B&B versions.
