Ok, I'm done.

I sampled this show because of Sharon Stone, and I think she's just fine here.

But while watching the second episode, there were two issues that made me just walk away. First was that hospital rescue scene (which others on this board have mentioned), where Case seems completely oblivious to the agents/security that have fallen. I know they portray him as focused on the task at hand, but come on...

Second is Olga Fonda's overacting as the sexy, overconfident seductress. It is so cartoony; she just overdoes it a bit.

Even though I'm out, I hope this project goes well for Ms. Stone, and/or she has other projects that suit her. She is so talented.

for some reason you think he need to stop and take care of them

HIS JOB IS NOT NORMAL

He is a NO NAME AGENT that is not affiliated with any city state or federal agency, he only reports directly to the VP OF THE US OF AMERICA

He has no ties to them and His mission is his mission NOTHING ELSE

do you not get this

Let me make a easy for you He is a bad guy ( bad guys don't care who is dead or who they kill ) that does good things

I don't think I said he was supposed to stop and take care of them, I said he was oblivious (look it up) to them. Like I did say, I realize he was focused on the task at hand but the scene was just missing a quick reaction one way or the other, in my opinion.

Not a big deal...this show is made for goofy distraction, not praise or awards.

reply

I agree. Some times I just like goofy. When I want reality I'll show up in the ED on a Sat night. Or maybe what shows up there isn't based on reality either

I'm out too. Too bad cause I thought Sharon was good. The rest is amateur hour.

I liked the Olga character and the word is cartoonish, there's no such word as cartoony!

The mission is exactly that and now and then the plan gets upset and thinking on your feet then happens.

As such this is fairly routine fare. All of them are ridiculous even the really good stuff. Chuck gets mentioned but that was mostly comedy and yes the writers were able to sustain various character traits. any of us enjoyed the romp that was Chuck.

Sharon Stone has had her moments in the movie sun and has given pleasure [maybe a wrong word as more time spent on slowing down a bit of film history that on the movies themselves]. She has little to do here other than I suppose underwrite as Veep something that cannot ever be recognised as happening. Plausible deniability we hear but then we have this POTUS having spent time as VEEP and therefore knows all about it. I can see the occasion that the VEEP secretly undermines a president in some conspiracy. Hell it is openly alleged that VP had knowledge of the plot in Dallas 1963.

A chemistry has been written into this with two enemy spies becoming respected by each other. Also done in other series to add a little spice. Well as the lady looks good and does have an eye pleasing shape better than Sharon it is welcome. The action scenes are of course forced and at the end of episode two I see a bad guy got away. He must recur. Seen in other series and can be a real bad guy.

Maybe I am wrong but Case does manage to get rid of some of the guys at the Hospital one I am sure was also at the auction site. Oh well they look alike maybe.

I can take this nonsense as diversion material but agree its not got legs. Well Sharon's legs are losing appeal for me anyway. Fond of the Fondas but find that the name is an adopted one.

Of course it is the realm of fantasy.
