Similarities to Chuck
Anyone else getting a major Chuck vibe from this show? The main character is named John Casey!

shareCol. Casey was an NSA agent. The main character worked for Buy More Nerd Herd.
shareChuck was fun. This is not.
sharePlease don't compare this pile of dung to chuck. :/
shareIf by "Chuck," you mean a couple of highly similar Chuck Norris TV-movies collectively known as "The President's Man," then yes. I agree.
shareBut, if you're referring to that glorified cross between JAKE 2.0 and GET SMART that NBC did, for three ill-advised seasons, then I would have to say...
"Definitely not!"
And, actually, it's not "Casey." It's "Case." As in "Just in...?"
shareNo, because now in the 8th episode and half of the US government is dead by some unknown cabal. The government would have been shut down after the first death.
A maniac billionaire? Putting spyware on governmental hardware? The NASA hack kid got serious trouble for light security material - and this guy gives parties, instead of being carped bombed for classified access tampering? Yeah!
The stories start to be too pulp and oldschool to be enjoyable. They had a good beginning, but Sharon dumbed it down to much.
You must've been watching some other mid-season cliff-hanger, Mic. Both the Prez and the Veep survived! And whoever was Undersecretary of State, within John Shea's administration, is now third in line of succession.
shareNot me. No delicious grunting Baldwin. No attractive ass kicking Yvonne. No idiotic sales team. The comedy only in it being a little ludicrous.
NO hero interconnected with all the knowledge of the world [and some].
