History is funny sometimes

History sometimes is funny and ugly and as my Grandmother used to always say it ain't always pretty. Unfortunately, American history is filled with good and bad stories, from the beginning of time. And these stories are being told now on the BIG SCREEN. We have a degree of stories that need to be told from the Native Americans on down. My Grandmother came from those roots they are my stories as well. Just like they are many of yours they are American History. Take a college course in American history you will see that it's not so pretty folks.

But then I have to stop my class in Women's studies ... that's no good. I am a white male and need to be told how racist and filled with misogyny I am.

Your face is lily white so you wouldn't understand of course and make fun of what I stated. I have been in college and taken American, Women's studies, African American and world history. Because I love history not because it was required.
I just think so many people have a naive view of history. Was just stating my family's experience. Wasn't being a smartass. You continue to do well in school.

History is written by the victors. Which is why most naively believe that the good guys have always won every war.
