It almost makes the show unwatchable (or at least unlistentoable). It is a cross between whining and sobbing, but done in a chipmuck-voice.
They said that the same person who did the original chipmunk voices is doing these voices. Was Theodore's voices always this awful??

but yes, the other two boys, the 3 girls and Dave are all voiced by the original actors. If they would have used them for the live action movies, it would have made a big difference.
the show is playing right now as i type this and if i didn't know better, i'd think it was the original series based on the voices. i get that the Chipmunks and Chipettes are altered electronically but you can still tell when its not the originals.
I think Theodore is cute enough but I find him a bit more annoying in this one . Sometimes he can be cute but they have placed him more into the role of the baby and sometimes it can be annoying as he is a lot more immature than his brothers .In the original he acted more like his brothers only with the cute lines placed in but in this they are over playing him .
shareIt's the same as the original. What bothers me is he's not as fat as the original 'cause God forbid we show kids today it's ok to be fat and confident.
shareTheodore sounds pretty much the same to me as he did in the 1980s series. I find his voice adorable.
