The evil English king and his spymaster, the plucky republican puritans in the New World...you really couldn't make it up.
I know the British are appeasers but this is unbelievable! Taking the enemies point of view and making it your own.
Disgraceful.

...I wouldn't have been surprised if Mel Gibson had come chasing down the evil pantomime king half way through....he killed Jason Isaacs afterall, and he wasn't even an evil King! He was just an evil English wannabe aristocrat! ;)

No doubt Channel 4/Film 4 have created this for the US market where it is obviously trying to break into to replicate what the BBC has achieved. UK audiences be damned then...!!
