Will you kill an innocent person to protect your child?

Can you kill an innocent person to protect your child like Lena did? I sure cannot. Don't get me wrong, I love my children but I don't think I can just kill an innocent person.

reply

Yup I would. If I knew something awful was gonna happen to my child. No doubt, wouldn't even think about it.

the only caveat being she didn't succeed. never really a smart lady

Kill an innocent unarmed person who never did you any harm?
Your are one sick psychotic f#$k! You should not be allowed to breed and your children should be all sterilized.

reply

Well your sister would be highly disappointed.

reply

You are clearly not a parent.

@nyariath -- and you clearly have never had a child or even been in love before, because if you had you would understand his position (which happens to be the same as mine).

Oh and FYI, the OP asked a question - we're just answering honestly. Which is what I'm sure they prefer. Would you rather people lie and just pretend to be useless human beings willing to let their own loved ones die? Get back to me on that when you have a loved one facing death.....you would do anything to save them. Full Stop.

Anything else is a lie - to yourself by the looks of it and that is the worst lie of all. You can go on lying to yourself - me, I'd rather face the truth. I'd do whatever I had to, to save my family.

I love my daughter more than anything, but honestly, I don't think I would. I've thought about this question before. What would I do to save my daughter's life? I honestly don't think I would take an innocent life. Moreover, I don't think she would want me to. She would never forgive me if I killed somebody to save her.

All that aside, I have learned to never say never. It's impossible for anybody to know what they would do in any given situation. All we can really do is speculate. In this situation, I think there are other ways to save the child. She could've just packed up a bunch of camping gear and gone into the middle of nowhere where there is no electricity. Wouldn't that be all that was necessary to save the child? As long as Drill can't get to her, then she's safe. Hell, even if I were willing to kill somebody to save my child's life, I certainly wouldn't do it until I had exhausted every possible option. I don't think Lena had done that. But then Lena was an idiot. I didn't like her character from day one. What's funny is that she's the same girl that is in Zoo. I rather like her on that show, but man did I hate her on this one.

Would I choose the life of my child over a complete stranger? Sorry but I wouldn't hesitate.

@denasio -- to save my daughter I would BURN the WORLD. I'd do the same for my husband. They are EVERYTHING to me - they've stuck with me through serious health problems, they were there for me when my mum died; they were the ones who helped me recover from two strokes aged only 41. They supported me when my father's latest mistress turned up to my mum's funeral so drunk she could barely stand and my father just laughed. They've loved me and helped me no matter what.

So yeah - I'd kill an innocent person to protect my child. I'd kill an innocent person to protect my husband. I'd torch the world to save them if that's what it took. NO hesitation. NO question.
