Not bad, but pretty clearly staged.

Neat concept, and I like the way they handle viewer involvement, but it does feel a bit staged.

Here's to the health of Cardinal Puff.

Doesn't to me. If it is, they're going a good job.

Wouldn't you be afraid of getting caught talking to the guy (and throwing him a sandwich)on the other side of the glass about having each others back, without it being a bit staged?

If it is a typical reality show, they are given a booklet that describes all of the game rules. If the rules don't say anything about helping the other team, then you can do it.

Personally, if I were on a reality show, I'd read that booklet from front to back a dozen times and then find every single legal way to bend those rules in my favor and break every single assumption about the rules that's not written down.

They're just talking and throwing food over with that guy eating. I would be worried that someone from either team could be walking by at any second. There's no way I would do that for as long as they did.

No one came by & they talked for a while. That convinced me it was staged. It was just unbelievable.

Well, he did finally get busted. But I agree. They are sequestered in a house and he doesn't get caught? The eight ball says.....extremely unlikely.

That was in an isolated part of the house, pay friggin attention

You're gullible

"We're not going to Guam, are we?"

reply

No, I just have common sense, why would one of the other contestants walk into that room in the exact time they were talking? It's the back rooms, the contestants don't go back there much.

reply

No. Like she said you're gullible.

It honestly doesn't take much to realize this show is completely rigged. How else would Mercy, stay at the top 5 the entire show, when she wasn't even REMOTELY likable and Lisette stay at the bottom, when she contributed to most of the wins, got along great with everyone, and was an all around happy go lucky gal?

Then the voting system always allocated 100% of the vote to one person, but how is that possible if other players are getting a percentage of the vote??

Furthermore, the housemates couldn't have been that dumb to not call Jeff into question or suspicion after America voted him most unlikeable player 3 times in a row.

The show was ABSOLUTELY rigged, and in this day and age, you should have enough brains to know that reality tv is not reality, it's scripted, and producers will keep the most controversial player on, regardless of what 'Murica says.

reply

The reveal of their alliance too. Oh Danielle finally walks in on Jeffry and JR plotting? 5 bucks says the producers were like "Hey guys where's Jeffry?"

Similar situation when team Epoch is in the hot tub this week talking about throwing Frank into the challenge, while Frank is apparently in the kitchen washing all the dishes on his own...?

I mean, all reality shows are scripted but this one's pretty obvious.

Precisely. Sorry you're too dense to understand how it could work that way. Everything's a setup.

'Could' is irrelevant, your reasoning for saying it was a 'set-up' is retarded, in fact, you gave no reasoning.

After last nights episode totally agree. Wyatt lost on purpose. He had the 4th sword in hand but never went to place it until Jesse had his 4th one. Wyatt could have easily placed it and been back before Jesse even found his 4th. Very disappointed, I really wanted to like the show.

It also looked like Wyatt had tar on his face before they even had started the challenge.

reply

I could be wrong but it appeared he was looking for the fifth sword at the same time. If it was staged then why not just find the fifth sword and keep splaying around in pretense until Jesse got his?

reply

He did find the 5th sword. It looked like he put it by the edge as he was getting out to place the 4th one. Then grabbed it as Jesse was getting his 5th too. The finish was just way too close. I will have to watch it again to make sure.
Up till then I really was liking the show. I have voted and followed them. I will probably keep watching since my boys like the show. Of course I know that reality tv is not really reality but semi scripted and swayed by the producers.

reply

Well they cut away to Jesse so it was hard to see what was happening with Wyatt. He ended up looking like a fool so how much is that worth?

reply

I think HE staged it, but not the show per say. He was clearly pissed and felt betrayed since they put him up. They broke their "pact" with him (at least in his mind). Since he was "the Strategist", I think he felt that he would screw them, how they screwed him.

He probably thought that he was done at that point and there was no way he would be kept around to collect the 100K, so he wanted to give them the finger. So he screwed their plans to get rid of the other guy and weakened them by leaving. A twofer, for the road.

He clearly said as he was leaving that he was pissed with them, and wouldn't even give them the complementary (fake) good bye. I think he planned it.

Funny thing, I think he will get his wish.

I thought WTF when Wyatt already had the 4th sword in his hands and stayed in the water like 15-20 extra seconds (at that time I thought that he was looking for the 5th sword but it really ended up looking as if he was waiting for Jesse to find his so they would be head-to-head). In my opinion that was wasted time and apparently giving the game to the other team since he felt betrayed by his own teammates.

Even though I agreed that choosing Jesse this week wasn't the best strategy for team Epoch (I would have chosen Lisette and Steve, unless it had to be girl vs. girl, so my choice would be Sam), I think Wyatt overreacted about he being singled out by his team, it seems as if doing what he thought was the only right thing to do and forgot that in the end it was a group decision, alas not unanimous, but it wasn't as if they were plotting against him.
