Did it make that much of a budget, that it gets a sequel? This screams Open Season to me though, anyone else?

EXACTLY! I read the summary and said, "So, they're remaking Open Season already?!" I suppose the first Nut Job must have had such a low budget that it actually made a little profit, incredibly. O___x

The fact that this somehow merited a sequel truly means Hollywood is utterly out of ideas.

I think it's time to cut our losses, blow up Hollywood, and start over somewhere new.
