Too bad Ashley Williams is in this....

otherwise, I might be interested in watching. I just cannot stand her. I imagine all she does is just smile at Jim and laugh admiringly at everything he says, with herself providing absolutely zero substance to the show.

I imagine you (obviously) didn't watch the show or you wouldn't have posted such an erroneous, off-base 'observation' of her character/performance. Kinda silly to post a comment like that after the premiere has aired and everyone who DID watch can laugh at the ridiculousness of your guess.

You imagined wrong (obviously)...I did watch it.

Great! Then I'm NOT imagining that you're a complete idiot! Way to prove my point, pal! Perhaps next time you make statements judging an actor's performance you'll actually make ACCURATE statements! Opinions are fine. But you made statements describing her performance and yet NONE of what you described was true! Maybe you need to watch it again or, better yet, just admit you're wrong, shut up, and slink away back under that rock.

That's why I quit watching King of Queens. Leah Remini's character was just mean, bossy and bitchy. But I don't think Jim G's wife character is even a quarter as bad as Leah R.

And "Doug" was just plain stupid. I hate it when TV shows over exaggerate their attributes beyond believable. Can anyone seriously be as stupid and selfish as Doug and Arthur?

Like you said. Sitcoms are supposed to be for escapism.

I'm glad she is in this...she is freaking hot!!

I like Ashley Williams in this. Give her a chance.

It's funny. The OP says that Jeannie just laughs at everything Jim does, while others say that she just nags him.

The truth is that she can be a nag, but she needs to be one given that she is raising five kids and Jim is Jim. But she is much more than a nag. She gets his humor and sometimes joins in. She actually loves him, and he her.

I think Ashley Williams is doing a terrific job playing Jeannie.

I think she was wonderful in this show throughout the entire season.

I like her since I saw her in the two "Snow" Christmas movies on The Family Channel/Hallmark Channel with Tom Cavanagh!

I liked seeing her as a "black widow" in an episode of "Monk." I liked seeing her on "Warehouse 13."

Anyway, she's been in a lot of TV shows and movies, and I just saw her on the Today show talking about the new season of The Jim Gaffigan Show with the other two cast members. I'm a fan of hers, and I'm glad she's on this show!
