What is the truth booth?

How exactly can that scanner determine if the couple is a true match? I thought it would be based on the couple revealing their feelings for each other or votes.

i think they feel out a questioner before the show & they compare everyones likes/dislikes, past relationships, etc.

idk just my guess.

Understood and I'm only teasing but if this WAS real technology, not sure this show would be its grand reveal to the world ;)
