Can't this show be manipulated?

I thought the same thing. No way for us to know for sure.

The producers can only manipulate it so far. They can manipulate who they say are the matches at the very beginning but after the first truth booth, the producers are "locked in," they can't go back and mix who's matched with whom otherwise it doesn't line up with the lights nor the truth booths going forward.

@gi: I feel like the producers could very well do that. But if they actually do, that I don't know.

But the producers could certainly give them the answers as to who the matches are.

Of course it can be manipulated, because even on the last episode, the contestants weren't positive about who all of the matches were. They knew some for sure, by process of elimination, but some they guessed.
