Yeah, I noticed that! Plus, at Carl's (the guy with the big log cabin in the woods), I am sure Mick is taking showers, cooking his food, taking a crap, and doing his laundry there, too. For being alone in the woods (as the show suggests), he certainly has a lot of company!
Also, all the loggers, poachers, partiers, & campers they show nearby.

Maybe the cable executives don't think it would be popular or, more to the point, that's not the demographic they're trying to appeal to. Have you noticed how macho and male-oriented cable tv programming has gotten now: loads of shows about guys who works on cars, guys who fish, guys who log, guys antique shopping, pawn shop guys, storage locker guys, etc etc. Even guys who like to overeat/eat gross things (Travel Channel specialty).
shareyou're right I guess all the women oriented shows are "real housewives of XXXXXXX" and mob wives, and basketball wives and so on. I wish they would make shows about women that are not catty, dramatic, jealous, and self absorbed.

shareI agree, I am so sick of all the stupid "reality" shows that make all women look like self-absorbed, helpless, catty b****es. There are plenty of women in the world who have common sense, don't care about make up and hair-do's, and have bada$$ outdoor skills. I would love to see a show like that!
