So sad NatGeo is reduced to this ...

OK so the show is mildly entertaining, but it is not what I expect from NatGeo ... Discovery Channel and there fake reality shows sure, but NatGeo should be above this kind of fake reality and ginned up drama, not to mention if fake treasure hunt, it was at that point I just rolled my eyes and found something else to watch. Really if you are going to have these shows call them what they are ... fictional/staged reality/pure BS
Would it be to much to ask to get a survival show, living in the wild show that actually teaches skills and knowledge and not all this fake BS drama.

It's a constant scramble for ratings/revenue. They have to do whatever is necessary to feed the beast.

There was once a time when the Discovery Channel was a respectable enterprise that aired mostly nature documentaries. Can you believe that?

All cable networks fall victim to this disease sooner or later. I call it "channel rot". It's sad, but it's a reality of owning cable television. Once it sets in, you just have to find a new network to replace the one you used to watch.

Yep....and there was a time when the channel that still has the nerve to call itself HISTORY.. had "History" programming... NatGeo is almost 100% garbage now... these "Reality" shows are going to destroy Cable TV.. more and more people are complaining about them and the slime Cable Channels keep churning them out...

I just checked the on screen guide to see what NatGeo has to offer for the rest of the week... mostly all, if not all, cheaply produced, scripted, staged, faked pos garbage "Reality" shows... such a shame, that NatGeo has sunk so deep into the cesspool that Cable TV has become, so quickly... is the channel owned by DISUCKORY ?

These Cable Channels are going to garbage themselves and Cable out of business.. one or two "Reality" shows per channel would be too many... but how about giving us viewers some variety... throw in some quality programming.. enough of these garbage shows... the same shows all day, several times a week... mix them up a little...

As soon as Ala Carte Cable Service is available.. A&E, HISTORY, DISUCKORY, TLC, OUTDOOR and all HUNTING/FISHING Channels, NatGeo are gone.. the only Cable Channels I'll have are AMERICAN HEROES CHANNEL,SMITHSONIAN, TCM, TBS, FXX, in other words the ones I currently watch.

I dropped cable years ago and got a Roku ... and I love it.
