No One's Talking About How BAD Jennifer Carpenter Was

I see everyone talking about how bad the soap opera-ish story was for Widow was, how bad the anime style animation was etc, the general feel of the plot overall, but skimming the threads I see no one talking about just how bad Jennifer Carpenter was. She is a horrible, horrible VA. There was like no emotion or inflection in her voice at all most of the time. Her first several minutes of interaction with Castle I swear she was reading straight from her script in a monotone.
