Really, genocide?

Call me jaded, but since every nation in the world, including my own, has engaged in some form of genocide, I find it rather odd that the hero would think that evidence of genocide would be enough to cause the new Confederacy any particular level of difficulty.

Seems like a real shot in the dark to me. Evidence of wrongdoing has never been enough to bring a government to its knees, especially since most governments make it their business dictate to the masses what morality should be.

If you want to bring down a government you need to attack its financial strength. Disrupting and destabilizing its economy, forcing it into wars that drain its reserves and exhaust its resources.. these are real problems to a government.

A small pile of bodies doesn't mean as much. The almighty dollar is always more important than life. It's a very sad truth, but it is a truth.
