Wild Bill Hickock soap actor?

I swear that Hickock is being played by Walt Willey, Jackson on All My Children. Don't see him on IMDB in series cast or show listed on his own filmography. Anyone know?

reply

Yes, it was. In the end credits he was also listed as a writer on the program and a consultant because he has a lot of experience with the subject and has done a lot of research for one-man performances he has done about Hickok. He did a great job.

reply

I agree, Great Job Walt!

You probably know this by now.

I didn't even know who Walt Willey was but I saw this post and thought I would check into it.

It is definitely him.

If you do a Google image search for Walt Willey you will find a website called
waltwilleyworld.com and on that site you will see that he actually plays the same character in live theaters in various cities, pictures of him as "Wild Bill", as well as a video of him promoting his appearance on Gunslingers.

I hope this helped, there's nothing worse than wondering but not knowing for sure.

I thought it was Muse Watson, Mike Franks in NCIS.

I enjoyed all the episodes but Wild Bill Hickok was the best all-around with some excellent acting.

reply

I knew it was Jack Montgomery.

Reenactment shows occasionally use name actors. It blew my mind when I saw Michael Madsen in a reenactment on the show "Real Detective".

I remember Jackson Montgomery on AMC. Soap operas get a bum rap. Many very successful actors got their starts on the soaps. Now there are only a few left.

Are they going to have season 3 of this show? I really like this series.
