Piling on

It seems like there are so many movies out there that take their crack at this or similar plotlines, and almost all of the time they fall short.

It'd be great if someone could come up with a simple and entertaining storyline that could result in something that doesn't follow a Hollywood protocol or checklist.

Sex, violence, depravity, struggle, perseverence, tragedy, sorrow, protagonist/antagonist, kicking ass, hope, triumph, etc.

Focus on one or two and deliver. Including everything results in 90-ish mins of wondering what movie I'm gonna watch next
