Journeyman

Okay, just because the people on this board might have appreciated this show so I'll throw it out there. Journeyman, was a similar type of TV show that ran in 2007 and lasted only 13 episodes. It was about a guy who time traveled and fixed problems. A little like Quantam Leap but with better acting and storyline and he didn't actually jump into a person from the past. This show was axed by FOX mainly due to the writers strike. It just was a cool concept and would like to see someone bring this show back one day.

I agree, I watched all episodes and thought it had great potential... unfortunately the networks never know a great show when they see one as compared to their ass from a hole in the ground.

If you want something similar that lasted longer, Parallels has a lot in common with the 90s Fox show Sliders. It's a group of people, traveling around to different universes, sometimes very similar to their own but with a few slight changes, sometimes drastically different. It also involves alternate versions of themselves, and employs a similar time limitation - where they have to jump every certain number of hours or they get stuck - meaning they're constantly moving from universe to universe every episode. It's probably a bit dated now, but was pretty entertaining for its time.

Yeah I liked that show Sliders. That show is pretty dated now and the technology didn't age well. But the concept is still cool and I wish someone would reboot it with a better plot. Ive been watching 12 Monkeys and I'm liking that a lot. Fringe was a fun show to watch too.
