Not really. It's basically Sliders 2. They'd just keep going from world to world until the actors tire and want off. Then they'll gradually get replaced. By the time the show would end, the original characters would have all been killed off or replaced.

These types of things, you need to make it with a beginning, a middle, and an end, both in terms of storyline as in timeline (how many movies/seasons they need). If it's another, "We'll wing it until the popularity drops and we are foreced to end it, then come up with some arbitrary end" like Sliders, no thanks.
