Why should a woman be able to change any man? I would never expect a woman to stop thinking for herself and conform to whatever I want her to be. You sound quite selfish and controlling, thus in your eyes I'd much rather be what you call "an emotionally abusive narcissist" than a spineless, weak-minded, submissive individual who doesn't stay true to who they are.

Well...I don't know that she wanted to "change" him so much as to have him "change back" to who he presented himself to be when he pursued her.
Once she realized that whole personality was a lie, tho, and that he was really a psycho...I'd think she should have left.
Not my marriage, tho. So, whatevs.
