Somewhat interesting

I saw this movie today, I wouldn't say I didn't liked it but overall in my opinion it's too much of the same thing for too long... Actor Michael Lonsdale is for me hysterically funny in the role of the movie director; he's basically a very serious actor who as far as I know almost only portrayed serious character... But here he lower himself and portray very seriously and professionally a movie director who have to say it that way a very high opinion of himself without really being good at all... The character of the movie director was apparently based on real-life director Eric Rohmer, but I've never seen any of his movies so I can't tell if it's any good or not but I heard good things... The character of the struggling actor is based on the late actor Jocelyn Quivrin whom many many years ago I surprised myself to be jealous of when I read that actress Alice Taglioni was married to him... He died very young in a car crash a few years ago... Personally today I wouldn't say I love Alice Taglioni but it was at least a serious crush, I couldn't get enough of her... But today I'm with someone else so it's definitely the past, I really don't believe we would last very long, we don't have much in common at all... I'm glad she's on my list of money gift tough...
