The Best One

In my opinion of course, the best Marvel show so far is this one.

Well written characters, a fresh and original look and setting, a great lead character that does not need to be overtly sexual or bitchy to be strong (as in a lot of cable shows often try and have female characters be 'strong' by writing them as overly mean or overly sexual), and a reliance on fun, adventure and enjoyable characters instead of the dark, 'gritty' cynicism that rules television today and has become quite worn out.

Agents of SHIELD is just boring and cliched with poor writing and characters. Daredevil is a good show but way overhyped by the 'mature' crowd who are so excited to have something that's gritty and 'not for kids'. It's a good show but people act like dark and gritty = automatically better. Jessica Jones takes it further and makes out like drinking + sex + cynical self loathing = mature. Jones and Cage were both uninteresting characters.

This wins the enjoyment factor. Fresh, new, interesting and unlike pretty much all other 'superhero' adaptations. So of course it's the one to get cancelled.

I agree and disagree. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D? It had a shaky start but it has only improved with every season, and this latest season is a perfect example of that thanks to the writing, acting and directing which has been nothing short of impressive. They did a particularly great job with Ghost Rider.

As for Daredevil, certainly it doesn't get most of its merits because it's targeted at adults. It's praised because it is, in fact, a quality show that happens to be a PROPER adaption. And it should be worth noting that its grittiness is one of the reasons fans and even critics felt like the show was a fresh breath of air for a superhero show. And I like Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, but I understand some of the criticisms.

At any rate, Agent Carter was by all means a unique one from Marvel. It having a different look and feel compared to all the other ones was to be expected since it's a period piece, but nevertheless the show also standouts because it's superbly made and original in its own right. A real shame it didn't get another shot, and I doubt Marvel is gonna make anything like AC any time soon (I'm looking forward to all the other stuff they have in store though).
