Totally agree. The Rebels was genuinely funny, even though I don't normally like goofy comedies. Natalie Zea gave a great commanding performance. On the other hand, Bosch had some solid production values and acting, but it just went nowhere. Boring, like you said. And Transcendence was awful. Not funny, not charming, not heartwarming, not anything. They failed on everything they were trying to accomplish.
The After was an interesting premise and a good cast, but it lacked cohesion. I'll definitely give it another look and hope it improves. Mozart In the Jungle was really not my kind of show. If they focused more on the music and less on the sex I'd probably have found it more interesting. It just seemed like a bunch of self-centered people trying to one up each other.
I'm disappointed. I sent in my feedback to Amazon. Looking at the scores here and on Amazon, it's clear that people liked The Rebels more than some of the other shows. It seems like it would have been one of the cheaper shows to produce as well. I just don't understand the decision.
I took time out to put my feedback in as well.
Gutted they're not continuing with this show.
I thought the pilot was funny and made me want more.
It's a solid 8 outta 10 here, shows that there are people who like it.
It could've been a contender.
Now we'll never know.
I was walking down the skyway my way...
Yeah and today they realeased that Transcendence and Bosch got picked up but I wont be watching those maybe Mozart and The After. I was kind of disappointed but "The Rebels" arent shut down just yet so there is a chance
