There's so many now new artists these days. Before, the most musicians you could name were Lazerhawk or Kavinsky. New faces are starting to appear and Synthwave is gaining momentum by the month. I think we should list those artists in this thread since it's likely new people will become fans of this niche genre from watching Kung Fury. Lets begin.

Random tidbit, Power Glove the newretrowave band in this movie has a space in the name. PowerGlove without a space is the heavy metal video game covers band. Both are awesome.

Thanks! I've been maintaining a Spotify Synthwave and Retro Electronica playlist for a while and there were some great additions from your list :) Plus I see you have some missing that I have.

And then of course Boards of Canada, who are not synthwave, but rather in a league of their own and on a similar wavelength. My favorite band.

I tend to bundle all these kinda together. At least they fit well together in a playlist.

Been sampling the synthwave thing for a while, and now I'm on to retrowave (with vocals). It's like having all new 80s music! Particularly like what I've heard from Paradise Walk. If you guys like the instrumental synthwave stuff, give some of the retrowave stuff a try.
