Yup. I thought they hired a male model to play the lead, turns out he is the one who wrote the show. I found that surprising.

I was thinking Milo Ventimiglia/Johnny Depp.

No, but I think he had an uncanny resemblance to Barry Pepper, right down to facial expressions.

Yes, he looks like a young Johnny Depp.
