No, not at all. This may be the most average film I have ever seen, it's barely satisfying, maybe slightly better than average for acting. I'm somewhere between 5/10 - 6/10. Frances Ha to me was solid 9/10 territory

In between both.
Francis Ha is extremely better (one of my favorite films of all time). But it's better than Mistress America--which I didn't like at all.
Why don't you just watch it and make up your own mind? People can give their opinions, but in the end it's all pretty much subjective.
