the first episode was hilarious, the way they overly portray themselves is just fantastic.
I keep hoping for that to actually be a Veronica Mars-ish pilot. If the show does well on theCWSeed VM might come back :D

Ryan Hansen was the life of the party until Episode 3. Ryan was still doing great, but Percy Daggs stole the show! I was laughing so hard...
Who wrote those amazing lines? And Daggs -- he nailed everything!!
I mean seriously, that show is funny. I'm a huge Veronica Mars fan, had head about Dick's show around a year ago, then never realized it had actually been released. But that was a hilarious hour.
(Spoiler warning). I'm not sure if my favorite part is Wallace going all black power, or the recasting of Duncan Kane as the rapist from season three, along of course with the reactions by the gay dancer recast as Logan.
But that was some very amusing and well written stuff. The meta commentary aspect actually works maybe even too pointedly (witness again the Wallace stuff, which let's be honest will never let me watch the pilot in the same way again. I mean am I the only one who every time I re-watch VM and see Wallace will have "magic Negro" in the back of my mind? ). I can't believe Play it again, Dick hasn't gotten a lot more attention. It very much deserves it.
