WTF? moments in the movie

can someone explain to me some of the actions that occured in the movie please?

Why a women entered the bathtube fully dressed?

Why the killer made some signs with his hands before been arrested?

Why the lead started to dance all of the sudden?

at the end, when the firemen are using the crane to extinguish the fire the movie abruptly ends, what was that about?

I don't really think there's an explanation other than it's art. Another wtf moment was the fact that the main guy also liked to attack woman outta nowhere. It's clear the guy has some issues, like being drunk and so on, but this film had a lot of potential and should've taken another direction. It's is not bad, but could and should have been better.

1) I think the woman did it our of sorrow. She pretended she did not care for her husband she thought abandoned her for a younger lover, but she was grieving all that time and when she saw the jacket it brought a lot of pain to her. She starts laughing, and then you see she is actually crying and she wants to know where he is.

2) He plays rock-paper-scissors. I think he does that to warm up his hands- after all it is quite cold and he has no gloves - and his wife does not want to hold his hand. Unless someone has any other observations, I will stick to this.

3) I think it was just meant to be his feel-good dance. He solved two cases, one that cost him his career 5 years past. His wife left him, everyone used to look down on him, now all of a sudden he became respected- and he wanted to show off really.

4) I think the main character makes the firework show happen- I think it was a sign from him to the girl.

In the beginning there was nothing, and it exploded.

I know this is an old thread now, but just got a chance to see this movie and wanted to make an observation.

The film is very much about sexual abuse. The primary female in this film is abused by her boss at the laundromat, the man that she killed over the coat, and the detective attempting to help her. Also, the detective Zhang (even though he isn't technically a cop anymore) is shown to abuse several women throughout the film, including one security guard, even with a large group of male guards standing around laughing about it.

It is with melancholy that this film ends, because the good guys are as bad as the bad guys, and a woman defending herself is the victim and will go to jail for defending herself.
