The best Azan quotes so far....

"I’m surprised that she’s big, a little bit" (talking about his first meeting Nicole in person)

“I read that there is big people in America, cause of a lot of fast food. In Morocco woman cooks a lot, you know, fresh food and delicious food. I worry that Nicole don’t cook at all."

"I hope that Nicole can learn how to cook because I want my fiancée like, eat healthy, to go to gym. That’s good for us.” (then Nicole replies with a sour look on her face, “You want me to change? You never told me that.”)

"I know that Nicole, she really want to have sex. I want to make sex with…I think with Nicole. Ya, cause I love her.”

Poor, poor Azan :(

I don't feel sorry for him. I think he had a bit of a romanticized image in his head that this would be like an arranged marriage - not your number one choice, but you can put up with them for the perks.

Unfortunately, there are no perks.

But he should have known somewhat about her after a month of speaking with her. One conversation over Skype should have tipped him off that she's not the brightest bulb in the lamp...nor one of those little skinny fluorescent ones either.

I wonder what they talked about?

I don't feel sorry for him either. She may be ignorant of his culture, and pushy and insecure...but he definitely had an agenda in seeking her out online and proposing after only three weeks of online chatting. c'mon. So yeah, that's what happens when you are shady lol. Kind of like Mohammed with Danielle...she turned out to be in debt, did credit card fraud, other things...but, he was trying to scam her into a marriage for a green card. Soo

Back to Azan. No one or nothing is forcing him to be with her (unless it's pressure from his family for him to get a green card or something along those lines, to get money from the show, something?) But then that proves my point. If it's just an honest, normal relationship, he has no obligation whatsoever to stay with her. So, why is he? After seeing how much they collide and clash?

I'm curious as to what the plan is for the US home setup. It appears that Nicole still lives at home and I read on a gossip blog that she works in a coffee shop.

To successfully obtain a fiancé visa, the petitioner (Nicole) must earn, or have the equivalent assets, 125 percent of the poverty level for a household of three (herself, her daughter, and Azan). If she does not meet the income requirement alone, then another US citizen who does meet that requirement must co-sponsor him. That person is on the hook for his financial well-being for the next half-decade, and so is she.

If Nicole is earning 125 percent of the poverty level for a household of three with a baristas salary, then I am changing professions! I doubt she has enough assets to make up the difference.

I can only assume that she is eventually going to recruit (or at least attempt to) her parents for this.

Now as far as Azan is concerned, this is just another burden. Not only is he going to be married to a woman who doesn't understand him nor cares about learning, doesn't cook or go to the gym, cheats on him....now he has to live with his in laws and be financially linked to them for years to come.

I loved the part about Nicole being upset he wants her to be healthy and exercise. Such an AWFUL thing to want for a family member.

You are really delusional of you think someone actually wants you to be morbidly obese and really loves you on any level. Lol

For what it' worth I got that she was hurt because it might be the first time she had any indication from him that he wasn't pleased with how she was/looked/anything. Duh, maybe, but still. He waits until he's in front of the camera to voice his "concerns"

Like imagine you're all la dee daa with your significant other, and then one time at a dinner or some other public thing, they go off about how you'd look so much better with a haircut and better clothes ...or something. You might be like, wait what, I didn't know you had a problem with that?...
