Why is Lowo living in Vietnam?

I can't find anything about why he left Nigeria for Vietnam...better class of criminals?

I guess if he gets a visa to America, any presumed criminal record is a non-issue.

I think he's in Vietnam for an education. Nigerian immigrants in America used to score in the top 3, at least, for being the most educated and successful immigrants. Their median income surpassed the average American. They're considered model immigrants.

They might do as well in places like Vietnam too. I don't know.

He speaks English. Many people in Vietnam speak English so probably not a problem. It looked like he is in Hanoi, lots of English spoken and a sizeable expat community.
