i know a ton of ppl online from the balkans and nordic countries that have lived there their entire lives and although accented their english is as good as anfisa's
Not to mention that if you are interacting with any Europeans and you don't speak their language and they don't speak yours, you will most likely have English in common. There are many opportunities to use English in Europe.
