Not intended as serious fare - I liked it except for the fact that despite it's Super Friends throwback it actually rips off an older SF episode. Tone was great - old school - but an original idea would have been better.

I assume they did that on purpose to see how the reaction is. If this is the only of it's kind best they go the extra leg for referneces....but then why bother giving it a heading if it's only a one-off....err, shrug.
But i don't really consider it a fault they didn't write a "new" story, since this is comics, which even though no medium is that "original", comics certainly isn't one of the ones to often hide how much it recycles.
Gamefaqs has a far worse population than IMDB
The description on the DVD is a bit misleading. It makes it sound almost identical to the Challenge of The Superfriends episode it's based off of, (but replacing Green Lantern's part in the story with Batman).
However, the only hero they go back in time and change history on is Superman (which affects the others) but the DVD case specifically states "Lex Luthor sends the Legion of Doom back in time to eliminate Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman before they become super heroes.
I'm surprised that episode of Challenge of the Superfriends isn't one of the extras since it relates to this movie more so than the 2 episodes they did include.
Speaking As A Member Of The Generation That Grew Up With The Super Friends......This Was Complete *beep* You Remake Something That Was Done 30 Years Ago,And It's WORSE why Would You Make It To Begin With ? Why Not Simply Come Up With A New Idea ?
