Total piece of *beep* Wow I hated that character. His treatment and attitude towards Patrick is completely irrational. Hello, one of the only other surviving humans you know left, and you treat them like *beep* and watch as they get attacked and their dog killed.
shareI just finished watching that part and I'm so angry, I could throttle that character. I don't care how much you hate someone, if you have the chance to kill a monster, you take it even if you end up saving the life of the guy you hate. The dog wouldn't have died if he had manned up. And did he really have to try sneaking up on the rabbit? Shoot it through the GD fence, @$$hole.

shareTotally agree. He was a sanctimonious prick. The Matthew Fox character fell apart mentally, something that needs love, care and his best friend's HELP -- nice lack of compassion Jack kept up there for nine long years. A-hole.
shareI understand Jack's motivation completely. Patrick got drunk and beat his wife to death. Jack has a daughter to protect.
However, I also understand the value of forgiveness and that humans are all just downright flawed, so he treated him more harshly than he probably should have.
I get it though. I don't blame him one bit.
