You have to be able to coach a losing team.

The excuses sure do come out when you are the losing team.

It happens because the kids lose faith and come into the game already defeated and it doesn't matter what kind of motivation the coach can offer the kids will just be bummed.

When a kid starts complaining about being hurt in these kind of one sided games I call it emotioanl pain.

I'm talking to you Texas Storm.
Your kids are always going to get hurt because they are not that good.
There's nothing wrong with that. It is what it is.
