Wait a minute ....

A vague movie synopsis about time trial. A movie with Christopher Lloyd in it. The number 88 ... as in eighty eight miles per hour. Could this be the new Back to the Future Movie!?!?

reply

You cracked the code. You know too much.

Delta, Bravo, Zulu, Tango, Foxtrot.

reply

OMG Doc Brown broke the time space continum!

Great cast of B,C,D, and E list actors for a proposed Back to the Future movie.

Time to start proof reading your own thoughts my friend.

Lol Katharine isabelle is neither a bcd or e actress, she's actually getting taken pretty seriously it seems nowadays which is great because she is a tremendous talent. Wether or not its a back to the future movie I have to say its doubtful judging by the bts photos i've seen from filming.

But who knows. and no one has to proofread their thought, because it's just a thought. not a fact, it doesn't even have to be logical, a thought is as a thought does.

reply

LOL! She sure is! Nobody ever heard of her before except you Mr 88 PR rep.

reply

Not true, i have been a fan of hers since Ginger Snaps in 2000, plus she was great on Hannibal. Also, i love the fact then she is always entertaining in a movie, whether the movie sucks or not. If the movies good, shes good, if the movie sucks, she just goes for it and it is very entertaining to watch.

reply

Absolutely right, nobody has ever heard of her before this movie, obviously anyone that has must be subnormal, right?

Yeah, no. She's been acting over a quarter of a century and been involved in over 100 productions, retardo. Maybe she isn't on your top 10 doesn't mean she's unknown.

reply

The reason I'm watching this movie right now is because I remember her name from "American Mary". Which I thought was great.

reply

Worst movie title ever. 88 is widely known to mean 'Heil Hitler'...

reply

Widely is a stretch...
I'm not giving racists the #8 or the letter H.

Ugh... you're a complete bore. It's really sad how hard you're trying to find something to be offended about. Learn to take a joke, you dullard. Everyone was just having fun here until you come along and ruin everything.

Rule 1: wait until you see the movie before you make comments, even if you got a killer joke about the title, which this wasn't.

And try to get to the plot of these movies from the title alone: Apocalypse Now, The Shawshank Redemption, The Stand, The Shining, Clockwork Orange and Momento. I can name a whole bunch of other ones where the title is sometimes clear only after seeing the film, and sometimes doesn't become clearer at all despite the film being very good.

reply

Despite all that it is a pretty big coincidence Christopher Lloyd would be in a movie called 88. I didn't even really know he really acted anymore. Yet here he is. I honestly thought he was just going to have a cameo playing Doc Brown here.

reply

Coincidence? You mean it was suggestive of a time machine?

No, he didn't play Doc Brown. He didn't even look like the good doctor.

reply

It's pretty sad that most of the people think that Christopher LLoyd's career starts and stops at Doc Brown. Yes, he's still working -> check his IMDb page, if you can read this, you're almost there.

For the record, "88" is related to :
- the symbol of infinity, as the movie ends where it starts
- the length of the movie : 88 minutes

The filmakers explained it many times in their interviews and also in the behind-the-scenes video (on the DVD).

And if you watch the movie, you'll get more hints as the number appears in many scenes. There is NO single reference to his past character from "Return to the Future" as it has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Instead of doing some creepy nazi jokes and don't want to look like a dumbass, Google is a good way to find some info. All you have to do is to press the button.

Funny how you call people dumb for not looking things up, when you also incorrectly posted the movie title for Christopher Lloyd's character; the movie "BACK to the future", not Return to the future..

reply

Ha ! Sorry for not being a native english-speaker.
FYI, in French the movie title is "Retour vers le futur", but that was not the topic here.
