Why do people HAVE to have romantic partners in this dystopian future? Why turn the ones who can't into animals? How do they turn them into animals? Sounds to me like somebody had a weird dream and turned it into a movie.
shareI know, right?! Did you ever see a little thing called Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs(1937)? I don't want to spoil it for you if you haven't (although let's be honest, I kind of doubt you ever will if you haven't gotten around to it in the last 83 years)... It had the most ridiculous premise! I kind of blame that film for starting the trainwreck that is modern cinema. Where is the realism?! You can't find it!
shareThere's a huge difference between coherent fantasy based in a well thought-out setting and random BS pulled out of the author's butt. Snow White is the former, Lobster is the latter.
