I am surprised no one has pointed out that maybe these stories aren't as eventful as the last because they aren't necessarily for entertainments sake, there is no "writer" to change the script of how it unfolded because these are peoples REAL LIVES, sorry they can't be more thrilling!
But I don't necessarily think you mean it that way, but I just kinda lol'd about how we are complaining that real life tragedies are not entertaining enough for us, But I am thinking you mean the way the producers and directors put together the subject. Every little element makes it the masterpiece it is ( or isnt) , like the acting, the right narrator, the locations, the background music, the right production, etc. But if you think about it, they don't want to start making up "possible scenarios of who done it?!" if its a straight forward plot of what happened you know? Then do we say well we dont want to hear about those stories because they are so blah? Not exciting enough? thats not fair these are peoples real lives. They desire to be told as well. I was thinking the way you were, like this season is borrrring! but then I realized, I didnt want them making up things that didnt happen, interjecting suspects that werent really suspects so the real peoples lives can be ruined by the shows portrayal of them just so it can make for a better show, to make it more interesting for us viewers because these peoples lives are devastated and Im sitting back with popcorn disappointed Investigation Discovery producers didn't "Select" the more twisted REAL stories for my viewing pleasure. Just putting in perspective.
