Pretty bad!

Stupid movie with extremely unlikable lead character.

Have to agree. Too bad. Would have been much better if the writers had her make the love connection with Henry much earlier in the story and then just had her publisher try to break it up in favor of George for the sake of her book. Written as it was, it was pretty bad with a host of unlikable characters, including the lead. Could have been better with a little more effort with the script. Instead, the writers used the typical, cookie cutter, "chick flick" plot. The guy has strong feelings for her, she has him in the friend zone, he finally lays his cards on the table and she rejects him, then at the very end she has a sudden change of heart and enjoys a happy ending. I've seen this story way too many times. Just like "The memory book", "Post grad", "A ring by spring", Love wrecked" and I could go on.

It's on TV now and I'm 45 minutes in. The main character is such a freak!!! Who wrote this? It's depressing.

I was surprised at the number of posters who disliked the heroine. I thought it was just me. I found her spoiled, whiney, stupid, and shallow and entitled. Had to skip through to the end. I enjoy many Hallmark movies as light escapism, but I have to watch them on DVR because so many are so unlikable.

My mom, who is normally a sucker for these movies, complains about her. It appears that she is in a bit of arrested development with her mom waiting on her and her sister having to put her life, job and marriage on hold to help her with a ridiculous scheme. I think this character is should be a bit younger (early to mid 20s) in order for it to work somewhat better.

I normally like Hallmark movies, but I despised this one. The only likable character was Henry and he was hardly ever shown. The lead was a naive idiot.
