When/why was Barry Livingston edited out?

I just watched the 5/21/16 rebroadcast of this movie, and Barry Livingston does NOT appear in this movie (watched it twice to make sure).

Another poster indicated that he played Vivica Fox's character's boss ... but (at least in this rebroadcast) neither the actor nor such a character appears.

Was he edited out for the original airing? Or the rebroadcast (to make room for more commercials?)?

BTW -- there WAS a guy on the stage near the end, in a non-speaking role, that looked a little like Barry Livingstone (sitting on a chair on the stage, just to the left (facing the stage) of Sarah's character). Seems unlikely that they would use a (somewhat) known actor and CREDIT him and NAME the character, if it was a non-speaking part. If the other poster is correct that it was Vivica's character's boss, what was he doing onstage in a panel of writers??
