I want to like this so badly!

I loved Happy Endings and I'm so sad that I can't connect with this show. I love Ken Marino and I think Burning Love is an incredible series. This series brings together many of those actors, so how is it so bad? I'm just really disappointed. I was looking forward to this and I keep watching in the hope of it getting better and it's just not.

I'm with you OP, the show feels like it wants to be an ensemble comedy like Happy Endings but isn't.

The pilot was really good. This is one of those rare shows when the other episodes have turned me off to it. Its' been really hard to get into the show after the season started. It started smart but its getting stupid.

Agreement to the max. This show wishes so hard it was Happy Endings. The curse? Derek? Come on.

I'm with the OP, I watch this every week it's on hoping it will turn the corner.

I really like all of the castmembers as individual actors/actresses, but they just don't click together unfortunately.

The characters are very likable but they don't fit well together.
