This movie makes no sense

This movie is awful no doubt but it makes no sense. Thia couple was involved in a deadly car crash with the teacher that killed her daughter. And yet when the woman turns out to be their kids teacher they don't recognize her?? You paralyzed the woman's husband and killed her daughter but sure you don't remember her name or what she looks like. Makes perfect sense.

Did you not hear what Rachel's husband said the police told him? He said they told him the accident was not his fault. So he and his wife, while being very sorry for Gabby and her husband would not feel anything was their fault. It was 4 years ago and they moved on with their life. Gabby could have done that also.
