Too Much Recapping.

I want to like this show but the constant recapping drives me insane.
Every episode starts with a recap of the last episode- that is normal.
BUT then even within a single episode, it recaps what happened earlier in the same episode. After each commercial, it recaps what happened before the commercial. And then frequently, in almost every episode, it recaps things that were established in season 1. Like the layout of the money pit , using the same graphics over and over and over. We are in season 5. We know the drill.
It's all just padding to stretch like 2 hours of genuine new content each season (and that is being generous) into 10-15 episodes.
It's just too much and makes the show painful to watch.

That's how most TV shows are nowadays and it sucks. It's engineered to catch the viewer's attention even though they missed much of the episode. Then they keep bullshitting you about amazing things happening after the break so you don't change the channel.

No Doubt!

I like the show, but the endless repetition kind of ruins it.

How many times have we seen the graphic of the "chapel vault" getting pushed aside by the casing?
Twenty? Thirty? More? And it's purely speculation, they don't know if that really happened or not.
