An exercise in stylish animation

Come on, unless you just recited Poe, it's only going to be, at best, a visual interpretation of the style, the mood. And, to me, it worked very well in that context. The stylistic differences of the animation of each segment gave each it's own setting, unrelated to the other segments. They were visually very arresting, and incited me to want to go back and re-read the Poe stories.

In fact, the wraparound had an interesting intellectual concept, but I became bored by the sameness of the animation. When each faded into a story, it came to life.

In short, eye candy, and quite effective.
