New Show - Please Make This Happen
Since they decided to end the Party Down South shows I have an idea on where they could go with things to make a new show .... with the same premise of course. They ended PDS2 after just 2 seasons, and I am not sure why. It could be that Megan had a baby, and left after the 1st season, and now Raven and Bradley are expecting a kid together, and would also be unavailable for season 3. They already replaced Megan in season 2, so I don't know why they couldn't put two new people in there for a 3rd season. And, the original cast - I don't know, maybe they will lose Lyle if he gets married soon; but, I don't understand why they couldn't find a replacement for him if that was the case. In the end, they cancel both Party Down South shows all together. A little over a year ago it was the highest rated thing on CMT, and they decided to make PDS2 with new people so they could air it more often. Wonder what happened in 12 - 15 months time here....
Now, since they decided to end these two PDS shows (prematurely),what would be really cool here would be to create a new show, and combine the casts! At first I thought, wouldn't it be cool to put all 16 of them in a house together and see how they all intermingle. But, that is a big cast, and might be harder to film, and give everyone enough time on the show for people to enjoy it. My second thought was, what if they took 4 from the original, and 4 from PDS2, and put those 8 together? That could be an interesting mix! Or, maybe 5 from each show, and expand to 10 people? It would be great to see the two casts mixed in together for a month 'vacation'. I'm sure there would be great new bonds, and great new fights with all of those personalities together!
While it would be really cool to see the two shows casts put together in some fashion - I thought about something that would probably be even more awesome than that. What I really think would be cool is if they ultimately decided to make a new show; however, make it a cast of 12 people total .... 4 from Party Down South (original), 4 from Party Down South 2, and 4 from the Jersey Shore! The Party Down South shows came from the same production company that created Jersey Shore, and the shows premise are the same for all 3 of the shows. I think it would be very well received, and would be highly rated on CMT or MTV (or any network). I would bet that people would watch that super-show for more than 1 season!
If they decided to put this 'super cast' together, I would like to see the following people involved:

There is an age difference by now .... the Jersey Shore folks are in their 30's+ now. For that matter, the Party Down South Original cast are older than the Party Down South 2 cast (most on the original show are late 20's to early 30's, PDS2 cast are all in their young 20's) But, in the end, I don't think any of their ages would matter.
There is obviously an audience for these shows. They all did very well in ratings - and an 'all-star' cast like this would attract a lot of attention.
