Moving the earth off it's axis is no big deal?

I would think moving the earth off it's axis would pretty much destroy all life on it but apparently nothing will actually happen. What gives?

Well, I guess if superman turning the earth backwards didn't effect anything other than time, it's all good.
I'm just glad all those giant earthquakes didn't really effect anyone on the planet either. There was plenty of time for a romantic kiss and some casual phone calls.

You have a point there.

It is called "the writers didn't take STEM classes".
Not even junk science, no science at all...
(Besides that, the mass of the Earth is still going to be continuing in its usual orbit whether the axis changes or not. No science at all.)

That is almost as bad as an idea to have everyone on Earth face east, and all at the same time start running, and that will stop the rotation of the Earth... (**smirk** Not only no, but no freaking way!)
