New Movie Poster

Hello!

I'm a newbie and a BIG Coen Brothers fan. So I was thrilled to read about "Hail, Caesar!" and that The Highlander himself is in it! I'm also looking forward to the Mata Hari mini-series. Then I noticed he is starring in this bio-pic about Nellie Bly as what looks to be a truly sinister antagonist. This will be quite the change and I can't wait!

I am concerned about something though. Nellie Bly has become a symbol of feminism and human rights, and yet the movie poster has the lead "Photoshopped" so heavily that she doesn't even look real. Luscious lipstick, smouldering eyes and impossibly "perfect" skin... the epitome of what she isn't supposed to represent. Nellie Bly was not known, nor should she be, for her physical attractiveness. The poster reflects today's (or should I say yesterday's?) social norm of what a woman should look like. It's actually quite ironic. Thankfully the trend of Photoshopping pictures of women has come under fire over the past year from celebrities and us regular folk alike. I saw the one of her looking through a keyhole (?) with a bright light shining though. It was simple yet eerie and quite artistic. I hate to say that I'm disappointed with the change and a little baffled as to how this was overlooked.

Is this set in stone or is there any chance of bringing back the creepy poster? After all... it's an asylum for the insane. ;)

Should be a compelling drama. Can't wait!
