WHY was this movie made ?

WHY was this movie made ? It must have cost all of £100 to make. From beginning to end there are floors with this film, From bad acting to Bad set design, Bad costumes, Bad story, Bad special effects etc etc etc..
I was expecting to be entertained but I ended up being totally disappointed..

stephensims53, compared to your last production how does this film rate?
Everybody deserves a chance regardless of good or bad. I would of found your criticism more practical as a review. Who knows, it could be as simple an answer as "its a tax write off" which is comon in the industry, or, it could just be a limited budget production. If it was made for £100, I'd give it a 10. Although highly unlikely.

It was made to cash in on "28 Days Later", "The Hunger Games", and "Vikings".

There certainly was no aesthetic justification for this crapfest.

Most likely - that's exactly how they described the story when pushing the film to the studio!

Seriously?

I swear I didn't know that.

My mother worked as a camera assistant on this film, I volunteered for a week on the film an I know it took a hell of a lot more than £100 to make, never mind the fact that the cast and crew were out in horrendous weather, on the top of a mountain in South Wales, in winter for 13+ hours a day... A lot of effort went into this film, so please don't just assume. The film you see in cinemas cost hundreds of millions to make. Obviously there wasn't that kind of money available for this film but at least they took a chance an considering everything I actually think it's good.

The History Channel led All Reviews and Downloads of the show, Vikings... Oldest trick in book, to bandwagon and ride the success of others'... It comes from an effort to Make a Quick Buck- it is a lot easier to Copy- than to Create... Easier to Immitate- than to Innovate. When anything, music, movies, shows hit Success in Mainstream- you see the copycat syndrome or Throw-togethers to capitalize on What's hot, & What's Now... Thus this movie...
